While Yrsula enjoyed the elk she had meticulously skinned and cooked, Azier went to work as he had promised. He flipped through his grimoire as he sat near her on the ground floor.
Page after page had nothing to offer him, as they all seemed to be spells to summon powerful demons - and he wanted to avoid that entirely. If Azrael had a deal with the underworld, then that included even the higher lords of Hell. They'd turn his ass in the second their yellow and red eyes laid upon him - and devour Yrsula for the fun of it.
He didn't even dare to read the words or look at their circles with their signs in it as he pulled a few chunks of pages between his fingers and flipped them over as fast as he could in hopes he could get to a different section of his grimoire without the need to lay his eyes upon anymore damned demon pages.
"Damn it... There isn't anything useful so far..." he grunted as he leaned on his fist and turned yet another page.
