Azier couldn't help but wander around into the kitchen where Evyra was grabbing plates, cups, and napkins. He had to thank her for what she said, and he was pretty sure he was over the whole dick-thing.
He gave her a smile, but she didn't return one and just went back to her work.
"Hey... thanks for what you said in there. It meant a lot to me," he said sweetly and smoothly.
"Sure thing, you deserved it." She replied curtly.
Aw shit, what had he done? He knew an angry woman when he saw one, and they typically had a reason. Better to know now than to do so later. So he bit the arrow and went for it.
"Evy, are you alright? You seem upset..." Azier started carefully.
"Why do you care?" She answered acidly.
"Ouch. I care because you're a beautiful, strong woman who I happen to find interesting and worth my time. C'mon, tell ol' Azier all about it." He continued and tried to coax her thoughts out.
