Many people would have called it the coward's way out - but for Amyra and Azrianna - being hidden was necessary skill practiced since their births. Be it luck, fate, or a blessing by the Gods, the two of them had found a small little alcove that connected to nowhere near the foliage.
At first it looked like it went somewhere, but the dead end came swift, but with Amyra's tendency to observe everything she noted that the cavern went upwards quite a ways and with her help, both went vertical.
At first it looked like it too would lead to nothing, but a nice little cavern attached to it proved them wrong. It even had a little 'window' that was blocked of by the vines that hung over the opening like natural curtains. They could barely see through the thick umbrage, but silently they both agreed that they didn't need to see anything they heard as Zephyra took on some mysterious combatant.
