Once Amyra opened her eyes, she groaned as they adjusted to the flames that flickered from the wall across the way from the cell she had been caged in. Her hand was still gone, and now she had been chained up to some sort of cross.
Her vision blurred in and out for a bit until finally they digested the environment around her hungrily and her brain noticed the outline of a figure that sat on a stool as he surveyed her like a specimen.
She gasped and kicked herself away from the red-bearded man with shaggy hair to match. It had patches of grey throughout and had a shaggy texture to it. He was rather large - but not the cut-kind of large. He had quite the girth for arms, but his belly was a bit big, too. It must have been from all the alcohol he consumed (or so it smelled like it down here).
"Ah you're awake," he started with a sloppy set of words.
