Tobias smiled as he listened to his brother's story - but on the inside he was wracked with terror and disgust. If Yrsula woke up before he could shove Azier off to Azrael, then she'd set off the frenzy that the youngest of their brood could muster.
So here he sat at his own table set for one, and poured tea into a cup for a long-dead man who he had lost affection for.
It was funny how their father had been so stupid to not notice Azier's abilities. When he had told Azrael about the magical power their brother possessed, it had kicked off this entire thing; the voyage - the hunt for him - all of it.
To see his plan flourish so well made his ego twist in delight. To know that Azier was right where he wanted him made this oh so much sweeter. Even if Dagon showed up, there would be no way Azier would trust him enough to leave.
