Relaxed as always on the outside - but in turmoil below the surface, Azier tried to calm her by being lackadaisical. "You should have some trust in that little psychopath-friend of yours. After all, he gave us a good work-around. I'm sure he's smart enough to figure Dagon out.
She refuted him, and instead paced back and forth. "...but what if Tyran is dead? What if we sent someone to the slaughter for nothing?"
"Darling, relax. I'm sure he is fine. If he isn't back by tomorrow night, I'll take things into my own hands." He answered and offered her a hug, but she declined it and instead continued her trek back and forth.
"...but what if he's dead now? I'd never forgive myself, Azier. I...I would be part of the reason he was dead." Her voice trembled, which gave his stomach an unpleasant churn.
