"What!?" Azier blurted out as Amyra slid over the pouch she prepared for herself to leave with the humans.
"You heard me... You have to go. I need to stay here," the scholar repeated from earlier as she sat across from him in front of his desk with one leg crossed over the other, and both of her arms laid across her chest in annoyance.
"That makes no sense. What if my dream was interpreted as me being you instead? What if the reason I couldn't move was because you were unable to defend the city?" He argued as he got heated.
"It wasn't, Azier. I had a dream last night, too. I went out to look for Tobias...and the ship slammed against the rocks and we all drowned. Do you know why that happened?" She stayed calm despite his sour mood.
"No, Amyra. I really don't. Just tell me. I've got a headache as it is - it feels like a buzzing is taking over all of my sense." He complained.
