Things had gone well lately that Azier almost forgot he had a war to fight. Something had to go wrong soon, because it was far too smooth to his paranoid brain's liking. The humans had a nice city to live in, they had a boat nearly fully built, and the trust that had been built up between them had flourished.
No attacks.
No issues.

It had been any other kind of night, except Yrsula and Azrianna had a small celebration for the birth they helped deliver that day. For the human female, it was nothing - she had seen babies born time and time again.
