Ilsandra couldn't believe that Zephyra left her on her own. She wasn't even sure when her counterpart even had time to split from her, but when she woke up tonight, Zephyra was gone.
At least she left a 'note' in the dirt where they had slept for the day. All it said in all capital letters was:
"ISLAND - THREE MONTHS"
Great. Wonderful. Fantastic.
She wasn't sure if it was a 'hey, let's meet up again in three months' or a condescended reminder to check in. Either way - it was rude of her to have just left her they way the swordswoman had.
That was fine, she had a plan of her own, and it didn't require Zephyra's company. On her way to the latest city she had seen from the night sky, she stopped to collect the bark from trees and steeped them in a stone pot she had taken with them on their trip. Their bag was nearly empty now that they had been out for half of their time, and Zephyra had taken half the supplies with her.
