'Ah, why did I come here?'
That was the B-Class Adventurer, Gerard, thought as he wield his spear against the Half-Blood cat assassin he was fighting against with.
He knew that this mission was bound to be difficult, 3 days had already passed but there seemed to be no sign of their enemy's downfall.
Meanwhile, on their side, at least thousands of Mercenaries and Adventurers combined already lost their lives. Though, they would resurrect in the future as they drank the elixir of the Laradan Goddess Temple.
However, he doubted the effect the elixir. Will he be really get resurrected once he died in this battlefield?
Even with the promise of resurrection, Gerard didn't want to die. Staying away from the main battle as far as possible, he didn't want to confront any of the enemies.
Nevertheless, his plan went wrong when a Half-Blood Cat assassin targeted him.
After hours of defending himself, he was starting to get tired.
"I should've just stay with my father and become a merchant..."
His Father was a very rich merchant, as the only heir of his wealth, he was bound to be a successful Merchant too. But he was foolish and chose to become an adventurer. Now, he may even lose his life.
As he loved his life too much, he didn't want to die even if he could be resurrected with the Blessing of the Laradan Goddess.
"I-I surrunder!"
Putting his spear down, he declared with fear towards the Half-Blood cat.
Even with less than 1% chance of surviving by surrendering, he still went on to his knees as he begged for his dear life.
He wanted to cling on that 1% in order to survive. He didn't want to die.
Looking towards the man kneeling in front of him, the Half-Blood Cat was surprised. He wasn't expecting that his opponent was a coward.
However, now that he surrendered, he certainly wasn't going to kill him. Landell has given them a strict order that those who surrendered, will become a servant of the White Castle.
Taking a rope hanging on his belt, he put it on the hands of the B-Class Adventurer and tie it tightly.
With that, he dragged the Adventurer away in order to lock him inside the jail together with the other invaders who surrendered.

An Owl flee by the window of Frost office. As soon as Lance saw the owl, he took the letter tied in its leg and read it.
"Master, it seems like Mercenaries and Adventurers are starting to surrender. They must be cowards to fear death even with the promised resurrection. However, their cowardice saved them from dying with a foolish death."
As soon as he dropped the last part, a grin formed on Lance mouth making Frost shiver from the uncanny similarities between the father and son duo.
'Similar. Both of them are too similar!'
"Ehem," Frost let out a cough in order to hide the awkwardness he initially felt. "Take me to the prison. I want to see how will our future servants will be."
Having said that, Frost stood up and went out of the office. Lance, followed soon after fixing the chair of Frost and then closing the door.
Today was the day they started taking the mercenaries and adventurers who surrendered as prisoners. Not many of them surrendered in the first day, it must be because they just drank the Elixir from the temple of the Laradan Goddess.
With the thought of resurrecting had rendered the fallen adventurers and mercenaries blinded with greed.
However, when thousands and thousands of their comrades fell at the hands of their enemies, the initial feeling was overshadowed with fear. As a results, many of them surrendered.
As the prisoners of the battle increases, Landell suggested to take them in as servants, which Frost readily accepted.
Now that they are in the prison, Frost wanted to see if he could find a person that will help him with building his Kingdom. After all, he wasn't knowledgeable yet on that area.
Arriving in front of the underground prison, Frost immediately saw hundreds of rugged men and women inside each cell.
As they surrendered themselves at the hands of their enemies, all of them were in desperate to survive.
"I want to survive!"
"Please don't kill me!"
"I will do anything, just don't kill me."
Hearing their pleas, Frost didn't budge. All of these people came here to kill him, showing his sympathy to them was not needed.
Honestly, he was quite surprised how he was able to stay calm in this situation. Back when he was child, he recalled to hate seeing other people jailed.
What caused his changes?
Soon, a woman with green hair with slight remblance with Lance walked towards them.
"Master, I am Lacy, the caretaker of this prison for today."
Frost was surprised to see Lacy here. Wasn't she the one cooking his food? How come she suddenly became the caretaker of this prison?
"Master, I am usually the one taking care of the prison. Due to Father's request, I asked my sister to do the job instead."
As if Lance had read his mind, he immediately said.
"I see." After giving his response, the three of them walked deeper in the prison.
"The people imprisoned near the entrance are weak, they can become maids and servant of the castle. Meanwhile, as we go deeper inside the stronger the people imprisoned will be." Lacy said as she guided the two of them in the Underground Prison.
"Master, I suggest you to use the Mage's contract. In that way, no one will dare to betray you," Lance added.
As the servant of Frost, his safety was the most important thing. That's why there shouldn't be any people betraying him.
The most common reason why strong people were defeated was due to betrayal. Lance didn't want that to happen to his Master just because they let those adventurers and mercenaries work for them.
Soon they arrived in a big spacious cell. The cell for the strongest prisoner they currently have.
"Master, here's the cell of the B-Rank adventurer. Though his strength is not comparable to yours, he is currently the strongest among all of our prisoners. When we interviewed him earlier, it seems like he had a vast knowledge about business."
Hearing the words business, piqued the curiosity out of Frost Larsh.
'If I could established a business, I wouldn't have the problem on making money anymore!'
With a new plan being formulated in his mind, Frost couldn't wait to use all the knowledge this man possessed.
