Jared Hughes had no choice but to walk towards Fanny Sabir.
As he walked over, Fanny Sabir's face darkened, coldly saying, "What are you doing now?"
The ladies around her greeted Jared Hughes with a smile and then left.
Jared Hughes took a glass of juice from a nearby waiter's tray and handed it to Fanny Sabir, "Mom, can we settle our scores in a few days? How about not tonight?"
Fanny Sabir couldn't help but laugh, taking the juice from Jared's hand and mocking, "Now that you've grown up and capable, you've even learned to hide things. I wonder what else you're hiding?"
Jared admitted honestly, "Nothing else, just this matter."
Seeing Fanny Sabir's face looking better, Jared said, "Don't be angry. I didn't mean to hide this from you. I just didn't want Grandpa Hughes to know."
Speaking of Sir Hughes, Fanny Sabir's face changed slightly but quickly returned to normal.
