Jared Hughes was not angry when he heard Thad Drew's words. He gripped the sofa with his slender fingers, but put on a nonchalant expression. "I also know you're the leader of the Dragon Group."
"So what?" Thad raised an eyebrow, standing upright and continuing, "Above the Dragon Group, there are people from the Sky Group. That person is just asleep for now, but when he wakes up, can you still protect Betsy Russell? Let me tell you, only if she marries me, can her life be saved."
Jared laughed lightly upon hearing Thad's words and said, "It's getting late, I should go back."
Jared lifted his foot and walked towards the door, opening it and leaving without hesitation.
Standing in the living room, Thad watched Jared's departing figure, his eyes narrowing slightly.
The cold wind rushed in with the snow, sharpening Thad's mind in an instant.
