Seeing that Jared Hughes didn't want to talk, Sam Flack asked puzzledly, "Today is your happy wedding day, why aren't you happy?"
"What's it to you?" Jared looked at Sam coldly and said indifferently.
Sam frowned, recalling the rumor from a few days ago, and asked, "I heard that the wedding was designed and overseen by you. Is that fake news?"
Jared didn't say anything, just shot a dagger-like glance at Sam.
Sam pulled a stool over and sat down beside Jared, laughing, "I knew it, this mustn't be your doing."
"If not me, then who?"
Hearing Jared say this, Sam immediately stood up.
"Oh my god, is this even real?" Sam couldn't believe that he was sitting next to Jared Hughes, the emotionless robot of the rumors, "Jared, did you take the wrong medicine?"
Before Jared could speak, Sam gasped, "You really do like Betsy Russell. When did you know you had feelings for her? Why didn't you tell me?"
"Did you find out she's the heiress of the Russell family?"
