Betsy Russell originally wanted to cut the pendant off directly, but each time she held the scissors next to the pendant, she couldn't bear to do it. After all, it wasn't the pendant's fault; Jared Hughes was the one to blame.
Upon hearing Betsy's words, Jared lowered his eyes slightly, concealing the smile in them.
He had intentionally damaged the necklace earlier to make Betsy keep wearing the pendant. However, he couldn't admit that directly in front of Betsy. "I don't know what you're talking about. Do you need me to help you undo it?"

Betsy gave Jared a cold look. She'd rather let him approach her. She planned to ask Heather Scott to help her later. "No need."
Jared poured Betsy a cup of flower tea and handed it to her, "It's good for your stomach."
Betsy took out her phone and started playing games, ignoring Jared's words.
