"You're here!" Sir Hughes called Jared over and turned off the TV.
Jared walked to the bedside, expressionless. When Steward Martin left, leaving him alone with Sir Hughes, he said, "Why did you call me?"
Despite wearing hospital clothing, Sir Hughes appeared spirited. He got up from the bed, walked over to the table, and handed an envelope to Jared.
Jared looked at Sir Hughes with confusion, opened the envelope, and saw the photographs inside.
He dumped all the photographs onto the coffee table, and saw Thad Drew and Betsy Russell together, having dim sum.
Jared's hand involuntarily tightened around the envelope, his eyebrows knitted together.
Sitting nearby, Grandfather Hughes watched these changes in Jared and sneered.
"Grandpa, are you stalking Betsy?" Jared asked, looking at Sir Hughes, who remained expressionless.
