"I need to go back." Betsy said, walking towards the stairs. She noticed Thad Drew followed her, but didn't say anything.
After all, there was only one way back to the first floor hall.
As soon as Betsy returned to the banquet hall, Natalie approached, her eyes falling on Thad Drew who was behind Betsy, and the corner of her lips slightly hooked.
Natalie walked to Betsy's side and whispered, "Miss Russell, the car is already at the door."
Betsy showed a bright smile on her face and walked briskly towards outside!
Betsy left the banquet hall early, and everyone present knew why. They all secretly speculated about Betsy's financial backer. The reason they didn't bully Betsy tonight was entirely because of her backer.
When Betsy got in the car and left the banquet hall, upon returning home, she saw her mother, Evelyn Campbell, sitting on the sofa watching TV dramas.
"Mom!" Betsy walked quickly over and lovingly hugged Evelyn.
