When the two women saw Betsy Russell appear, their faces instantly turned pale. But they quickly calmed down.
Though Betsy had found a sugar daddy, what did that mean to them? As long as they could find Betsy's sugar daddy's original partner, once she intervened, everything would be resolved.
"Oh, it's Miss Russell," the woman in the red dress walked up to Betsy, wearing red high heels. She glanced around and saw no one else. Growing bolder, she said, "We weren't talking about much, just admiring Miss Russell's resourcefulness. She snagged a sugar daddy right after her divorce."
The woman in the yellow dress, standing on the balcony, also approached, curiously asking, "Miss Russell, you're so lucky; I'm envious. How did you find a sugar daddy? Care to share with us?"
Hearing their sarcastic remarks, Betsy smiled and asked, "Who are you two? I don't remember meeting you. Did you receive invitations to come here, or did you sneak in with someone else?"
