"Please take your seats," Betsy Russell said with a smile, her eyes fixed on Isa Hughes's face, "Miss Hughes, do I owe you money?"
Isa was taken aback, glanced sideways at Betsy, grunted coldly, and didn't bother to speak.
Sir Hughes noticed Isa's sullen face, frowned, and although he didn't like Betsy either, he had to put up a front for the sake of the company under her name.
Sir Hughes looked coldly at Isa and reminded her, "Isa, have you forgotten something?"
Isa, who had her name mentioned, glanced at Sir Hughes, then at the waiter, sat nonchalantly in her seat, crossing her legs, and remained indifferent.
It was only then that Sir Hughes realized the waiter was still in the room and thought that Isa was too embarrassed to speak in front of outsiders, so he didn't say anything more.
Betsy smiled and handed the menu to Sir Hughes, saying, "Sir Hughes, please order."
