"To get your revenge!" Thad Drew said, pretending to put his hand on Betsy Russell's waist.
With the sound of a man's deep and pleasant voice in her ear, Betsy looked up at Thad. Seeing those peach blossom eyes filled with laughter, her ears turned slightly red, and she lowered her gaze and walked out calmly.
As they left the restaurant, Betsy immediately took a step away from Thad to avoid further contact, she smiled and said, "Thank you."
"Let's head back to the hotel together," Thad suggested with a gentle smile to Betsy.
Betsy had previously gone there by Heather Scott's car, and since she and Thad were staying at the same hotel now, there was no objection. "Thank you, Mr. Drew," she said.
"You're making me sound old," Thad laughed and corrected, "Just call me Thad, I'm only three years older than you."
Betsy nodded in response.
No sooner had Thad and Betsy gotten into the car than Gene Meaden drove Jared Hughes to follow behind.
