Charlotte Barratt was in so much pain that she quickly withdrew her hand. She knew that as long as she approached the edge of the pool, Betsy Russell would definitely kick her back in.
Charlotte swam arduously in the pool, looking angrily at Betsy and said, "If you treat me like this, aren't you afraid that I'll make a scene!"
"Heather, get the waiter to bring a few buckets of ice cubes. We don't want Miss Barratt to get too hot," Betsy said, looking down at Charlotte from above. "Miss Barratt, do you remember that night at the hotel? Tied up for so long, did it hurt?"
Charlotte's eyes widened in shock. She was now completely certain that Betsy had not lost her memory.
Soon, Heather had ice cubes brought over. Quite a few people followed out of curiosity to see what was happening.
When Jared Hughes arrived, he saw Betsy hitting the almost-ashore Charlotte with a stick. A hint of a smile flickered in his eyes as he gently asked Betsy, "Does it hurt?"
