Daisy raised her eyebrows slightly and asked, "Did I guess correctly?"
"No," Jared gazed at the shattered watermelon and said, "Don't mention those two words again in the future."
Daisy was slightly stunned, she could feel his sadness and calmly said, "I've already checked the information, it says you proposed to Betsy Russell in May, but you two haven't gotten married yet!"
"Moreover," Daisy paused for a moment before continuing, "Your hand has a ring, but mine doesn't."
Jared heard Betsy say this and pulled up the necklace around his neck, revealing a ring, "Yours is here."
Only then did Daisy react and said, "I'm sorry, I misunderstood you."
"It's fine, you don't need to apologize to me."
"What if I choose Thad Drew? Do I need to apologize to you then?"
Jared's heart tightened and, after hesitating, still spoke with difficulty, "Um, no need to."
Daisy raised her eyebrows slightly, "Don't you think it's unfair to you that I have amnesia?"
"No."
