Sir Drew took a sip of water before looking at Betsy Russell and cutting to the chase, "As a grandpa, I knew Thad Drew liked you, and I had thought about uniting our families. I wanted to propose marriage after your graduation, but you ended up marrying into the Hughes family."
Betsy thought about her past and lowered her head, silent.
"As his grandfather, I know Thad well, and I know he hasn't given up on you. But don't worry, I won't let him disturb your life in the future."
"I invited you here today in the hope that your family can spare the Sabir family. As long as the Sabir family still exists, Thad won't bother you again."
Upon hearing this, Betsy smiled and replied, "Sir Hughes, I don't quite understand what you're talking about. What does the Sabir family matter have to do with me?"
"Your father is helping you take revenge."
Betsy's smile never faded, surprised that even under these circumstances, Sir Drew still cared about such matters.
