Betsy Russell was momentarily stunned and looked at Natalie. She thought she must have misheard, but seeing the seriousness on Natalie's face, she knew she had heard correctly.
"I'm busy!" Betsy frowned and continued, "In the future, you can handle whatever concerns him. Don't bother telling me!"
"But..." Natalie hesitated before ultimately agreeing.
As Betsy contemplated where to eat lunch, her phone suddenly vibrated. She glanced at it and saw that Heather Scott had sent her a screenshot. Looking at it, she found that she and Jared Hughes had once again dominated Twitter trending.
Before Betsy could respond, Heather called her.
"Betsy, were you with Jared last night?"
Heather's anxious voice came through the phone.
Betsy laughed helplessly and said, "We were just talking about serious matters last night. He and I..."
"Betsy, let's have lunch together. I'll see you there!" Heather quickly interrupted before hanging up the phone and then sent over the restaurant address.
