Jared Hughes said, "I'm sure I'll be back before the hickey fades."
Betsy Russell heard him say this and couldn't help but laugh. She swiftly opened the door and pushed both the suitcase and Jared Hughes out without any hesitation.
Jared Hughes stood at the door with his suitcase, pretending to be sad. "Are you already tired of me?" he asked.
Betsy Russell leaned slightly against the door side, seeing Jared looking like this, she quickly said, "It's getting late, you should go downstairs now. I think Secretary Treiber has been waiting for you for a long time!"
Seeing that Jared still hadn't left, her ears turned slightly red, and she added, "Okay, I'll miss you a lot."
Jared Hughes finally seemed satisfied and said, "OK, I'm going."
"Yeah, hurry up!"
Betsy Russell nodded and watched as Jared dragged his suitcase towards the elevator. She closed the door and went back to her apartment only after he got in the elevator.
