Betsy Russell felt uncomfortable under everyone's scrutiny, and quickly said, "Let me go now."
Jared Hughes rested his chin on top of Betsy Russell's head, gently rubbing it a bit, as he murmured, "I don't want to let go."
No sooner had Jared's words fallen, two passing ladies looked at them curiously.
Betsy Russell's face turned slightly red, she gently pushed away Jared Hughes, sounding a tad annoyed when she said, "Do you plan to stand outside forever?"
Upon hearing Betsy Russell's words, a grin grew on Jared Hughes's face, he chuckled, "Alright then, as per darling's wish. See, how obedient am I?"
Jared Hughes leaned in to look at Betsy Russell, his lovely phoenix eyes filled with love; all he could see was her, as if she was his whole world.
Betsy Russell felt a pang of regret in her heart, considering herself useless. She lost her anger at Jared Hughes in less than twenty-four hours.
Thinking of this, Betsy Russell's face darkened again.
