Suddenly, there was a knock on the office door.
"Come in!" Betsy Russell immediately gathered her thoughts, picked up a file and placed it on her desk, and calmly spoke.
Natalie walked in with a folder in her hands, placed it in front of Betsy, and said softly, "Miss Russell, this is the budget plan for next year's talent show, please take a look."
Betsy took the file; it was about fifty pages long, and it seemed like it would take some time to read through it. She gestured for Natalie to sit down and asked, "What stage is the Turley Group's acquisition plan at?"
Upon hearing Betsy's words, Natalie immediately understood her meaning: she had long been holding a grudge against Jared Hughes. So she responded with a smile, "Mr. Hughes is still discussing it with the Turley Group; I believe a conclusion will be reached soon."
Betsy responded indifferently.
