Betsy Russell didn't expect Jared Hughes to learn how to make ginger tea. She slightly pursed her lips and replied, "Oh," before going into her room.
After changing into her home clothes, Betsy saw Jared standing next to the stove. She walked over to him and asked, "When do you plan to close the net on the Turley Group?"
"Wait a little longer." Jared glanced at Betsy with warm eyes. "Worried about me?"
"I'm just worried about Star Empire Entertainment Company's reputation." Betsy frowned and walked towards the living room.
She lazily sat on the sofa, not wanting to move, and took out her phone to play a game. As she won, she saw Jared walking over with two cups of ginger tea.
Jared handed a cup of ginger tea to her, saying, "Warm up, don't get cold."
Betsy looked at the ginger tea absentmindedly. Thad Drew had made her some ginger tea before too. If Thad hadn't been that kind of person, she thought they could have been good friends.
