Betsy Russell took a step back, withdrew her gaze in silence, and pursed her lips slightly.
"Who bullied you?" Jared Hughes asked, lowering his head slightly and looking worriedly at Betsy.
Betsy shook her head and whispered, "Let's go. I don't want to embarrass myself like him."
Today was the main event at the Hughes family's venue, so Betsy and Jared's early departure wouldn't affect the party.
As Betsy stepped out of the venue, she couldn't help but shiver. Onn was very cold, and she was only wearing a formal dress.
Seeing this, Jared said, "Wait for me inside, I'll get a coat from the car."
It was only a five-minute walk from the venue to the parking lot. Betsy didn't want to see Thad Drew any more and said, "Never mind, I'll just walk over there!"
Snowflakes were drifting in the sky, and a thin layer of snow already covered the ground.
