The girl who had just stumbled was Charlotte Barratt. Charlotte's eyes were constantly on the man beside Betsy Russell. She then looked at Diana with a smile and asked, "Who is Miss Russell? And, do you know the man beside her?"
Charlotte had only returned to China this year, and had been abroad for a long time, so she was not familiar with domestic matters.
