Betsy Russell stirred the cream of mushroom soup with a spoon, took a bite and put it in her mouth. The sweet and soft taste lingered between her lips and teeth, exactly the taste she loved most.
Betsy picked up the chopsticks and took a piece of bread, a smile appeared in her eyes.
"This bread is delicious." Betsy looked at Jared Hughes and said softly.
"Hmm?" Jared Hughes had no expression on his face, but a smile was hidden in his eyes as he stared at Betsy.
Betsy nodded, "It's my favorite taste."
"When did they start selling bread downstairs? I've never seen it before. Which store? I'll buy it myself next time." Betsy stared at Jared Hughes and said calmly.
"I'll make it for you next time."
Betsy looked at Jared Hughes in disbelief, her face full of astonishment.
"I made the dough and filling myself." Jared Hughes said calmly.
Betsy was still somewhat skeptical and hesitated to ask: "Did you make such progress so quickly?"
