Betsy Russell stood up slowly, walking carefully as the injury on her foot still hadn't completely healed.
Although the snow outside wasn't heavy, if Betsy went out now, she would definitely catch a cold, so she could only walk along the corridor.
Jared Hughes accompanied Betsy to the end of the corridor, where there was a window, offering a view of the night scenery outside.
Both of them stood there, gazing intently at the view.
Betsy looked outside and, in a moment of confusion, it seemed as though she saw herself besides a beach, watching a stormy sea at night with someone.
"Ah!"
Betsy held her head, wincing in agony.
Noticing Betsy's pain, Jared asked with concern, "What's wrong?"
"It hurts, so much!" Betsy's voice trembled as she looked up at Jared, her eyes instantly hollow.
"Jared, get away!" Betsy screamed hysterically before her body suddenly went limp, and she fainted.
