Joseph Kabul had never seen Thad Drew looking so dispirited. If it hadn't been for the organization's mission, Thad might have come earlier.
Joseph thought for a moment and tried to comfort Thad, "Mr. Drew, I don't think Miss Russell could be with Mr. Hughes."
Upon hearing what Joseph said, Thad's eyes lit up instantly.
Reluctantly, Joseph continued, "If Miss Russell could forgive Mr. Hughes, then she wouldn't have divorced him, nor would she have run away from the wedding. Even if Miss Philip forgave Mr. Hughes, what about the rest of the Hughes family? They bullied her so much in the past. Can she really forgive them?"
Thad stared thoughtfully at Joseph.
"Even if Miss Russell was magnanimous and could be with Jared Hughes for love, would she leave the Russell family again? I don't think she would leave them," Joseph said, looking intently at Thad as he agreed and let out a sigh of relief.
