Betsy Russell looked at Heather Scott with a bewildered face. She knew that Officer Blogger had always been very fond of Heather, so why would they have an argument?
"What happened?" Betsy asked, "Is it because of Gene Meaden?"
Betsy remembered that Heather had posted a message in her friend circle openly scolding Gene yesterday.
As soon as Sam Flack was mentioned, Heather's frustration surged, and she angrily said, "It's all because of that scumbag Gene Meaden! He used her and ditched her, not taking any responsibility at all. Jared Hughes is a scumbag, and Gene is a scumbag too. No wonder they used to hang out together!"
Betsy raised her eyebrows, looking at Heather with surprise, "Did you and Gene...?"
"Of course not! I have nothing to do with him."
"It was a young girl in that circle who slept with Gene before, and now she's pregnant. But Gene refuses to admit it, and the girl couldn't take it anymore, so she jumped into the river to kill herself."
