Betsy Russell gazed steadily at Aegwynn Diven, suddenly bursting into laughter and saying, "Risks and opportunities coexist, hasn't Jared Hughes given you many benefits?"
"Miss Russell is right. I'm a mother, and now I finally have the chance to plan for my son. Of course, I must strive for every benefit for him." Aegwynn acknowledged.
Betsy Russell calmly sipped her tea and smiled, "Mrs. Diven, there's nothing wrong with wanting the best for your child. I just fear that it might become too much for you to handle."
"Whether I can handle it or not, I can only know after trying." Aegwynn laughed.
"I wonder if Mrs. Diven still remembers the car accident six years ago?" Betsy Russell grinned at Mrs. Diven, going on to say, "Mr. Jared Hughes has no idea about this."
Gradually, Aegwynn's face lost its smile.
The atmosphere within the room grew heavy.
