Betsy Russell had another dream.
In the dream, she seemed to be in Ponce City.
She was surrounded by six people wearing masks, trying to break free but could never manage. At that moment, Jared Hughes came.
She couldn't hear what those people were saying, but she saw Jared holding a gun with one hand and shooting himself in the shoulder.
Betsy jerked awake from the dream, sitting up in bed just as the alarm clock beside her rang. She shut off the alarm clock without thinking.
The dream she just had felt so real, as if it had actually happened.
Betsy recalled the scar on Jared's shoulder, with a frown on her face. She also remembered Alice Roberts saying that Jared had been shot for her sake or something like that.
Jared's shoulder did have a gunshot wound.
Betsy's mind was in a mess, and she vaguely felt that the dream seemed to be a real occurrence, not like a dream at all.
