Isa Hughes was getting uncomfortable under Jared Hughes' gaze, her brows lightly furrowed, and she asked in confusion, "Jared, c-could you not look at me like this? I'm a little scared."
"Scared?" Jared Hughes suddenly sneered, staring at Isa Hughes with a sinister gaze. "What do you have to be scared of? Aren't you very brave?"
Isa was creeped out by his stare, shrinking back timidly and speaking softly, "Why are you looking at me like this? My leg is broken and I've been staying home these days, not going anywhere."
Seeing Isa's calm demeanor, it seemed that she really hadn't done anything.
Jared held up the email in front of Isa, pointing at the transaction records and asking, "Why did you send money to Abe White?"
Isa looked at Jared suspiciously, then leaned in to see the transaction records on the phone. Seeing the date marked as two days ago, she furrowed her brows slightly and said, "I don't know this person; I couldn't have transferred money to him."
