Betsy Russell had originally wanted Slevin Russell and Evelyn Campbell to stay at her home, but she was declined.
"Why won't you stay with me?" Betsy Russell cooed, clutching Evelyn Campbell's arm. She wanted to have a good chat with Evelyn Campbell, as they, mother and daughter, hadn't seen each other for a long time.
"Staying at a hotel is more convenient," Evelyn Campbell said with a smile, her red lips curving slightly as she added, "I'll come to see you tomorrow, be good, okay?"
"Alright then," Betsy Russell said, sounding somewhat dispirited.
Betsy Russell arrived at the hotel with her parents and immediately spotted a few familiar faces.
Lynne Bronte and Isa Hughes were close friends. It was Lynne who had helped spread the word when Betsy Russell was kept as a mistress.
She used to hire paid posters for Isa Hughes, who would bad-mouth Betsy Russell under her Twitter posts.
