Sir Hughes glanced back at Isa Hughes, his eyes falling on the handprint on her face, a flicker of heartache flashing through his eyes.
This was his precious granddaughter!
Just as Sir Hughes was about to speak, he heard Isa Hughes speak in a whiny tone.
"Grandpa, it hurts," Isa Hughes looked at Sir Hughes with a pitiful expression, forcing out a few tears. She knew that her grandfather was tender-hearted and would not scold her in future.
Upon hearing Isa Hughes's words, Sir Hughes was a bit taken aback.
It reminded him of the past when Isa would act spoiled every time she made a mistake.
His heart would soften, and he would feel sorry for her, not bearing to punish her. He'd always indulged her.
But now, Isa had grown up, was no longer a child, she had deviated from the path he wanted for her. He was afraid that if he didn't correct her now, she would ruin her life!
