Jared Hughes was bewildered by Sam Flack's words, habitually pinching the bridge of his nose, and asking in confusion, "What are you talking about? When did I ever post the comic thing online?"
"If it's not you who leaked it, then who did? Go check Twitter now, everyone knows about it. I've always thought you liked Betsy Russell and would never hurt her, but now you want her to be despised by the whole world, to bear the unwarranted guilt, you're not even human!"
Sam Flack's anger grew as he spoke, "Do you know how badly Betsy Russell is being scolded? They say she's shamelessly screwing around..."
Before Sam Flack could finish, the busy tone sounded from his phone. He looked at it and felt that Heather Scott's words were not wrong at all – Jared Hughes was indeed a jerk!
After hanging up on Sam Flack, Jared Hughes took out his phone, logged into Twitter, and glanced at the trending topics. His face immediately darkened.
