Thad Drew knelt on one knee on the ground, placing Betsy Russell's right foot on his knee. He pasted a band aid over the raw patch on her heel and softly said, "You'll have a scar and it won't look good."
Betsy Russell dared not look into Thad Drew's eyes, she withdrew her right foot and followed up saying, "I can take care of this little thing myself."
Thad Drew smiled and handed Betsy another band aid. He softly said, "Ok."
Thad Drew, seeing Betsy Russell bandaging the peeled skin on her left foot, beckoned for her to sit well, and helped her to close the car door, walked around the front of the car and sat in the driver's seat.
He started the car, seeing Betsy had put on her high heels again, he laughed and said, "Although high heels look nice, they're harsh on your feet."
Upon hearing that, Betsy smiled sunnily and said, "High heels are meant to be worn for the visual pleasure of others."
