"Sis, I want to be your man servant," Josh Drew's ears turned slightly pink, fearing that the next second he wouldn't have the courage to speak such shy words again, "I will be extra obedient."
Man servant?
Betsy Russell looked at Josh Drew in total shock, stunned for a moment, before finally realizing what he meant by 'man servant'.
When did she ask him to be her man servant?
She didn't say anything?
But Josh Drew's shy look...
Did Heather Scott tell Josh Drew this?
Heather Scott really is an old witch, her mind is full of inappropriate thoughts.
"Josh Drew, you're a finance major, and I'd like you to help manage my wealth in the future. I want you as an investment advisor," Betsy Russell anxiously explained, finally relieved when she saw that Josh Drew believed her, "Talent should be put to good use."
Josh Drew's black eyes immediately lit up. He stared at Betsy Russell shiningly, nodding vigorously, saying, "I'm willing, I'm willing!"
So, Betsy Russell immediately called her agent, Natalie, letting her sign a contract with Josh Drew. After bidding him goodbye, she quickly headed towards Heather Scott's room.
Heather Scott had also gotten up by this time, her hair impeccably groomed and radiant. She gave Betsy Russell a flirtatious wink, asking, "How was he?"
"Heather, you're going to corrupt that kid," Betsy Russell looked at Heather Scott with a speechless expression, retorting, "Stop trying to find men for me all the time."
"Okay okay, I won't look anymore," Heather Scott casually brushed off her words, however, she was thinking to herself that she needed to teach Josh Drew some skills for attracting women, "You should head to the set, I'll drive you!"
Betsy Russell nodded, she still hadn't bought a car and had been relying on Heather Scott's for awhile now, completely forgetting about buying one herself.
Heather dropped Betsy off at the production set, sitting in the driver's seat with a smile, she whistled and said, "Bets, I've dug up some info on Josh Drew, he's never been in a relationship, totally clean!"
"Shut up!" Betsy Russell went to hit Heather Scott's arm, but he quickly rolled up the car window and sped off.
Betsy Russell decided to settle the score with Heather Scott later, and turned to walk towards the set.
Quite conveniently, she just arrived at the entrance when she bumped into Isa Hughes.
Isa was heading over to the "Shadow of the Blade" set next door to visit, as she was currently pursuing the male lead, Steven Kayne.
When she saw Betsy, she was taken aback and stormed over in annoyance, yelling, "What are you doing here, Betsy Russell?"
Betsy frowned slightly, and didn't say anything. She tried to sidestep and move past Isa.
However, Isa was not going to let Betsy go that easily. She had been humiliated at the auction and was looking for a chance to regain her dignity.
"Didn't you hear me call you?" Isa grabbed Betsy's arm, taking a step forward, and looked at Betsy coldly, "Are you deaf or blind?"
There were quite a few crews filming in the area, and people who were not busy were gathering around for some excitement.
"I just don't want to talk to a single-celled organism." Betsy pushed Isa's hand off her, speaking coldly. She really didn't want to waste her time on someone inconsequential like Isa.
Arthur Wishart was initially reading the script on set. His scenes were quite heavy today and he was planning his schedule. Hearing that Betsy was being bullied, he quickly walked outside.
"Isa Hughes, what are you doing?" Arthur strode up to Betsy, positioning himself in front of her, protecting her, looking at Isa with a gloomy face, "What, are you done chasing Steven Kayne and switched to pursuing my Bets now?"
"What are you talking about? She..." As a high profile noble lady in the city, Isa was always the one bullying others, not the other way around. She quickly thought up a lie, indignantly saying, "Betsy scratched my bag, I'm here to settle the score!"
Arthur furrowed his brows, ready to speak when he was suddenly pulled aside by Betsy?
Betsy was staring at Isa with a grin.
Isa wasn't used to Betsy's sharp gaze and looked away, coldly saying, "What's the meaning of this, Betsy? You had the guts to do it, but don't have the guts to admit it? I never thought you would be such a coward!"
"Scratched your bag?" Betsy asked, stepping forward. She pulled down Isa's bag, scratched it harshly with her diamond ring, not only that, she also tore Isa's coat into two pieces right there and then.
Isa was completely taken aback, looking at Betsy in disbelief. She hadn't expected Betsy to be this aggressive, furiously saying, "My brother absolutely won't like you if you treat me like this."
Betsy chuckled, saying, "I discarded him like a worn out shoe, whether he likes me or not, I don't care."
Isa looked at Betsy then glanced at Arthur, finally catching on.
