"Miss Lindsey, are you here to apologize on behalf of Vicki today, or is it for you or Vicki that you want an answer?" Betsy Russell looked confusedly at Chloe Lindsey, stood up, and calmly asked.
Chloe pretended to be confused and blinked, lowering her head slightly without saying a word.
"Miss Lindsey, if you have nothing else to say, I'll be leaving!" Betsy said, about to leave.
"Betsy," Chloe quickly stepped in front of Betsy, blocking her way, and earnestly said, "When my sister gets better, I'll bring her to apologize to you. But I would like to ask you for a favor, to delete the tweet you sent last night."
Seeing Betsy's puzzled face, Chloe continued, "This is, after all, a matter between us. If it stays on Twitter, it will use up public resources. Can we not settle this matter privately?"
