The next day, Betsy Russell lazily crawled out of bed and casually grabbed her phone from the pillow. There must have been many people last night who were too excited to sleep!
Turning on her phone, she saw a barrage of unread messages on WhatsApp; many people were asking what had happened to her.
Just as she was about to read the messages, her phone rang. Recognizing the call was from Heather Scott, she put the phone to her ear.
"You're up early." Betsy spoke, drawing back the curtains and stepping out of her bedroom in her slippers, just to see Heather sitting on the sofa with a frustrated expression. She chuckled and hung up the phone.
"I didn't want to get up this early either," Heather complained, dragging herself off the sofa and storming towards Betsy. "Thad Drew almost blew up my phone! He disrupted my peaceful morning with Officer Blogger who now suspects me of cheating!"
