Tara frowned at Aradia's words. "But we already have a contract. They won't do anything bad to me, right?"
Liam shook his head, smiling. "Haven't you read the contract? It only states that you support Zalya later on."
"It says nothing about us not killing you or making you a slave."
"Irys, you say Drows are filled with treachery. If everyone is like her, I don't think we need to worry," Liam added.
Irys shrugged. "Who knows, she might just be playing dumb."
"Hey, I'm not like that," Tara defended herself.
The group laughed, continuing their conversation.
Throughout it, Irys maintained her focus on Tara.
Based on her experience with Drows, she found it hard to believe that a Drow, especially one who is a princess of the race, could be that naive.
Given their habit of treachery, Drow's internal politics were incredibly complicated, and a naive princess like her wouldn't survive at all.
