Liam sighed, "Well, someone introduced us. When I met her, I had no one to trust in my life."
"I don't know why, but she made me feel comfortable. She reminded me that I am not alone in this world."
"It might sound cheesy, but I really felt like that. She reminded me I can be happy."
"Oh, dear," Irys giggled as she linked her arm with Liam's.
Knowing Liam's entire past, she understood why he felt that way.
It made her feel warm knowing how much her presence improved his life.
Aradia smiled, looking at the couple, "That wasn't the story I expected though."
"I thought it would be something like you seeing Irys in danger and then helping her. Or something similar."
"Where is the friend that introduced you then? Is it Zalya?"
Aradia knew Zalya was one of the saints and had heard they knew her before.
"No, not him. It's someone you don't know," Liam answered.
