Liam considered the situation and then made an offer.
"Then you should come with us and continue your experiment at our place."
"You promised to let my friend take revenge on you, remember?"
Emeric paused his work, considering Liam's proposal. "Alright, let me pack all this up first."
Liam gestured with his hand to swiftly gather all of Emeric's equipment into his storage space. "Let's go now,"
Emeric, observing Liam's abilities, commented. "You ascendants make people envy you."
Liam chuckled as he said, "Aren't you going to make us all ascendants?"
Emeric, now more confident, replied with determination. "Yes, I'm sure I can succeed now."
Liam nodded in agreement and then got into the car with Emeric, with Elly driving them back.
They stopped at an empty house near Liam's old home, where they helped Emeric settle in.
This new location would allow them to keep Emeric close.
