The woman clutched her daughter tightly, her eyes shimmering with unshed tears. "That is good."
With a concerned expression, Liam turned to Leona and asked, "What happened to her?"
Leona glanced at the daughter before responding, "I'll explain it to you later."
Liam nodded in understanding, then asked another question, "What will happen to the daughter then?"
Leona replied, "We are arranging for her to be sent to a sponsored family."
Upon hearing this, the child began to cry, "No, I don't want to be sent somewhere else. I want to stay with Mommy."
Leona stepped aside, making room for them, and moved to stand next to Liam. "Let's talk outside," she suggested.
Liam cast one glance at the woman and her daughter before approaching them. "Hey, kiddo."
The child turned her gaze towards Liam, curiosity sparkling in her eyes. "Who are you? uncle?"
Elly Chuckled. "Looks like you've just become an uncle."
