As they moved through the hallway, a guard stepped forward. "Donovan, you're here again? We don't have any notice for you coming to the vault today."
Donovan replied with a light chuckle. "You know how the young miss is. She just asked me to take some items."
The guard let out a resigned sigh. "The master spoils the young miss far too much. But who are we to argue?" he remarked with a shake of his head.
"Alright then, go on through," he said, stepping aside.
Donovan led the way to a massive steel door that stood at the end of the hallway.
The door was marked with runic patterns that were engraved across its surface.
He raised his palm to hover over the door. The pattern began to glow with a life of its own, shifting and rearranging until the door emitted a soft click and swung open.
Inside, Liam looks around the vault.
