Liam scanned the room, hoping to find a solution.
Just then, Elly materialized beside him. With a smile on her face, she nodded at Liam and approached a nearby table.
Drawing a card from her pocket, she inserted it into a hidden slot beneath the table.
Immediately, the table vibrated. Elly quickly stepped back as the table divided, revealing a staircase leading underground.
Liam, asked, "How did you discover this?"
Elly chuckled, "This isn't my first time. Many of the Ascendant mansions have similar setups. As for the card, I get it from someone outside. Now, l'et's go."
Liam and Elly began their descent down the staircase. As they moved, Liam noticed the layers of dust coating each step. "This place seems to be unused ."
Elly responded with a hint of amusement, "There's another access point. Who would bother with stairs when there's an elevator available?"
