Liam's eyes narrowed, "Umbra? Are you sure about that?"
Elly met Liam's questioning gaze with unwavering certainty. "Yes, I'm absolutely sure."
Liam's eyes darted for a moment. "Since you stalk me all the time. Do you know who is behind my kidnapping?"
Elly pressed her lips together briefly. "I had someone to investigate it, but they've yet to get back to me."
Liam's tone grew more urgent, "And the ones who Attacked Derek and Layla?"
Without hesitation, Elly responded, "They're from the Silver Serpent. It seems someone hired them for the task."
Liam narrowed his eyes, "Can you find out who commissioned the task?"
Elly slowly shook her head. "I can try, but It will probably fail. The Silver Serpent is famous for maintaining the confidentiality of their clients."
Lost in thought, Liam's gaze turned distant. After a few moments, he inquired, "Do you know who killed Derek and Layla's parents?"
